Preliminary Research: ongoing — Oct. 31st

***UPDATE*** 10/22/14

Today in class we talked through a general plan for what we need to get done.

Just to be clear out topic is Expectation, Reality, and Deception online, more specifically, Alex suggested the exploring the idea of having two separate identities, one for online and one for off.

Which is true, is this a good or bad thing, etc…

General consensus was that all of our research should be done by either Monday the 27th or Wednesday the 29th of next week so that we can combine it and figure out what direction we’re going to go in, since we have a presentation on Nov. 3rd. By next week, it would be preferred that everyone bring about 2 pages of double spaced research and at least two sources, as we need 4 in all.

To start research I would recommend reading the Research your Story portion under the description of this project on the class website.

Some readings I think would be good to start with are the Identity chapter in Rushkoff and the Fact chapter as well. Also your own outside research! Research what’s interesting to you about the topic, because we need all the info we can get about this.
